In school, I excelled in the Applied Web Development certificate program at BCIT, where I graduated with Distinction, honing my skills in the foundational principles of web development and design. Since then, I've applied my expertise while collaborating with various organizations such as the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award Program (TFHAP), Hidden Gems Vancouver, and Checkpoint1 Apparel. Within these roles, I've embraced a multifaceted approach, seamlessly transitioning between web design, development, content creation, and social media marketing. This journey has not only expanded my professional skills but also enabled me to contribute effectively to impactful projects.
For the past five years, I've played an integral role at Doteasy Technology Inc. as their lead in-house Web Designer, spearheading the creation of digital solutions for our clients. In this capacity, I've refined my eye for design and continuously enhanced user experience, ensuring our projects consistently exceed expectations.
My skill set includes HTML/CSS and Bootstrap, along with professional proficiency in leveraging the Divi design framework on WordPress, as well as utilizing drag-and-drop page builders such as Website.com and Wix. Additionally, I am well-versed in UX/UI design principles, proficient in using Adobe Photoshop to bring concepts to life, and have experience in SEO and content writing to maximize site visibility and user engagement. Furthermore, my experience in project planning and QA testing ensures that every project I lead is executed with precision.
During my free time, I indulge in my passion for photography, finding inspiration in the beauty of everyday moments. Additionally, I find great joy from cooking, where I experiment with diverse ingredients and culinary techniques to create new and interesting flavours.
